Search, and filters are essential to buyers finding the right car. Over 80% of people that had contacted a seller had either used search or filter to discover that car. With a limited amount of vehicles, spending a minute or two filtering down to a precise target that didn’t exist on the marketplace is an experience we didn’t want the majority of people to have.
There is a lot of information competing for a buyers attention in a listing profile. Information about the car, financing, the listing history, addition cars… Over the past 2 years the listing became bloated with information and calls to action and because of that we were noticing that a decline in the contact rate and the buyer’s satisfaction with the information overload.
